We invite you to join us for the 5th Annual Fort Pierce Oyster Festival that will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Festival hours are 10am-7pm. This event will feature food, music, arts & crafts, marine education exhibits, marine exhibits and
oysters. We will be eating oysters and saving the shells for the St. Lucie County Oyster Restoration Reef Projects, including projects associated with the spoil islands being constructed for the Ft. Pierce City Marina.
We are fortunate that our 2014 event was well supported by the community and we had 10,000+ people in attendance. Our 5th
Annual promises to be bigger and better!
Proceeds from the event will benefit Sea-Life Habitat Improvement Project, Inc. (SHIP). SHIP is a 501.c.3 that is dedicated to deploying a large Navy type vessel as an artificial reef off of the Treasure Coast. Event planners include the City of Ft. Pierce, St. Lucie County, F. Pierce City Marina, Ft. Pierce Yacht Club, Manatee Center and COSEE Florida, along many other folks who care about our marine environment.
Join the fun! For questions, please call April Price, Event Coordinator at (772) 285-1646.
